CBR400 GULLARM
The bike had been tarmac surfing in Japan before being imported to the UK. I thought by repairing a damaged bike I might be able to save some dosh. Not So! Although I paid the right money for all the parts, the price of secondhand spares makes it very difficult to keep it viable. Even with the ability to carry out the paintwork myself it ended up standing me in tooooo much money. If your thinking about repairing a tarmac surfer be careful with the costings, there are many hidden extra's.

Bought this Z650 (Z750 engine) last year just before the Bandit.
Had rearsets, Harris track exhaust, custom seat and had been dynojeted and monoshocked. I didn't like the twin headlights so replaced them with the Acerbis fairing, fitted a set of blue Superbars and bar ends, reprofiled the front mudguard (removing the ugly feature in the process) and respayed it Rover metallic blue. Also replaced the track baffle (loud) with a street item which is still loud but not excessive!
Then a friend showed me his new B12 and I just had to have one so the Kwaka is now for up for sale!
