This is 'Dartford' Dave Hersey's Kart.

It runs a Suzuki GSXR1100 and is a work of art. Dave's dad, Dave senior, builds working scale steam locomotives as a hobby and therefore has built up full engineering facilities over the years and it certainly shows. This kart is fitted with nitrous oxide, 2 stage Dyna rev limiter, air shift and a magic box that changes gear at the dialled in revs, counts the gearchanges, opens the nitrous solenoids in the selected gears and retards the ignition to suit. So far it hasn't been able to beat my best run as it has been plagued by gremlins but it is only a matter of time before I get my ass whipped!

Since the last update, dave has run faster and faster culminating in the following run. The kart was only running 50% NOS when he achieved this time but after an outing to Spar in Belgium this weekend, Dave will be upping the dose in future to full whack so watch this space for further developements.
